Driver Arrested After Crash That Hurt Seven

A suspect remains behind bars today following a crash this weekend that injured seven people in Battle Creek.

It happened at the intersection of Greenwood and Kendall Saturday night around 11.

Police say a driver failed to stop and hit another vehicle.

The driver of the at fault vehicle fled on foot before police arrived, but eventually returned to the scene.

Two of the victims suffered serious injuries, but authorities say everyone is expected to survive.

The driver suspected to be responsible was arrested on charges of Operating While Intoxicated.
