Wintry scenes like this one returned to southwest Michigan over the weekend with forecasters now saying the week's weather coming up will likely be the coldest of the season so far. The week will also feature more accumulating snow.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory which takes effect at 7 p.m. Monday until 7 p.m. Tuesday for many southwest Michigan counties including Calhoun and Kalamazoo.

The Weather Service predicts 2-4 additional inches Monday night and another 2-3 inches Tuesday in Battle Creek, with amounts higher to the west.
