UPDATE: Missing Emmett Township Woman Found

UPDATE 6:55am: The EDPS now says that Church has been found safe and sound, thanks to tips and shares from the community.

Emmett Township authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman who went missing last week.

The Emmett Township Department of Public Safety says that Melissa Church was last seen waking in the area of 6 ½ Mile Rd. and B Dr. N, around 1:30pm Thursday, April 13. She was carrying shopping bags, and had initially left her home in the 12,000 block of 6 ½ Mile Rd. to go meet a friend.

Melissa Church is described as a white woman with red hair, last seen with noticeable blue eye shadow. If you have any information as to Melissa’s whereabouts, please contact the EDPS or Silent Observer.
