FireHub Expands into Horrock’s

FireKeepers Casino has launched a new partnership between The Fire Hub and Horrock’s Farm Market. Beginning Wednesday, March 7, a variety of The Fire Hub’s artisan bakery products became available at Horrock’s!

The Fire Hub will be selling include whole wheat bread white bread and several artisan breads; chocolate chip, blueberry, and banana nut muffins; birthday cake, Oreo, s’mores and carrot cake cupcakes; iced sugar cookies and several gluten-free options. Items will be located on the shelves near the sushi bar and will be marked with a Fire Hub banner.

Amber Ballard and Chef Mike McFarlen brought us some samples, and talked about the progress of the "Fire Hub."  Nearly a year ago, FireKeeper's Casino bought an historic fire station on Kendall Street in Battle Creek and converted it into a restaurant and food pantry.  Chef Mike talked about future phases of the project on the WBCK Morning Show.
