How interesting, the first professional baseball player to take a knee during the national Anthem now is possibly taking a knee, in jail.

The Oakland A’s catcher Bruce Maxwell was the first known professional baseball player to take a knee during the national anthem.  It is being reported by Yahoo News that the police in Scottsdale Arizona were called to his home in regards to a person brandishing a gun.

The police are alleging that Maxwell pointed a gun at a female food delivery person and he is now charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct.  He is now being held in jail until he goes in front of a judge.

Another interesting twist to his story is last week he claimed a waiter in the state of Alabama denied him service over his National Anthem protest.  The waiter has denied that ever happened and state the Maxwell was “outright lying.”

What is it with him and people who are delivering him food?

Why am I reporting on this, to show you the character of some who take a knee during the National Anthem?  Am I trying to say that all who take a knee have this type of character, no, but it is interesting is it not?
