Fish For Free, Michigan

Anglers across Michigan will be able to cast their lines anywhere in the state this weekend during the second of two Free Fishing Weekends, sponsored by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.

All fishing license fees have been waived for Saturday and Sunday, but fishing regulations still apply. Michigan offers over 3,000 miles of freshwater fishing along the Great Lakes shoreline, more than 11,000 inland lakes and tens of thousands of miles of rivers and streams.
