Fleury Chosen for City Manager Job

City Commissioners made their choice last night on who they would like to see as the next Battle Creek City Manager.  Commissioners voted last night at City Hall to authorize the mayor to enter into contract negotiations with Rebecca Fleury, currently the Village Manager in Middleville.  Fleury and Interim-City Manager Susan Bedsole were the final two candidates for the job out of forty-six applicants.  Five commissioners voted for making the offer to Fleury and four voted against.
