A former Emmett Township Public Safety officer charged with multiple sexual conduct charges was acquitted on all charges Wednesday afternoon.

The Calhoun County jury came back after deliberating between two days and found 46-year-old Troy Estree not guilty on nine counts of criminal sexual conduct. Charges were brought following an investigation where a 15-year-old relative had been allegedly sexually assaulted over an eight-month period in 2014.

Estree still faces sexual conduct charges in Kalamazoo County involving another female relative. That trial begins in April.
