West Michigan's lake effect operation has worked overnight to leave several inches of snow on roads, leaving commuters to deal with another slower, slippery drive into or from work on Friday morning. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 4pm today.

The National Weather Service forecast suggests chances for additional flurries or snow showers into the weekend, though a lesser chance.
