Battle Creek police responded to the area of East Roosevelt Avenue and East Goodale Avenue on the report of a shooting, late Saturday evening. When they arrived they found that three people had been shot at a party.

It appears that two people began firing at each other during the party that was attended by around 75-people. During the exchange a third person was struck.

Two men, in their early twenties, were taken to area hospitals where one man remains in critical condition. A third man, 24 years-old, had fled the scene and checked himself into Bronson Battle Creek.

None of the victims, or any of the party goers, could identify the gunman who had fled the scene. The shooting is still under investigation.
