High School Basketball: Redhawks Earn Share of I-8 Title

The Harper Creek Beavers made their way east to take on their longtime rivals, the Marshall Redhawks, in our High School Basketball Game of the Night.

In what started out to be a favorable game for the Beavers, the Redhawks would take their first lead of the game with 1:05 left in the first quarter. That would be the only lead they would need, as Marshall earn a share of the Interstate 8 title with their victory over Harper Creek. Marshall has now won two straight conference titles, but they will share it this year with the Parma Western Panthers with identical 11-3 I-8 records.

Harper Creek's loss would end an eight-game winning streak, with their last two losses coming from Marshall.
