A high speed chase, through Kalamazoo and Calhoun Counties, resulted in the arrest of two armed, meth carrying counterfeiters.

It all began around 11 PM Wednesday night, when a Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Deputy was on stake-out, acting on a tip about counterfeiters working the area. He had a description of the car and was observing I-94. A car matching the description appeared, and he took a 28-mile pursuit, reaching speeds of 126 miles per hour.

Spike strips were laid-out and the men ended-up leaving their car and fleeing. They were no match for the trusty K-9 units and were apprehended. A gun and methamphetamine were found and now the two Chicago men, Tremell Bailey and Robert Ingram, are now cooling their heels in the Kalamazoo County Jail.

After observing the mugshots of the two, they do not appear to be in the Holiday Spirit.
