The top two teams in the South Central Athletic Association squared off for their chance to advance to the Michigan High School Athletic Association's State Quarterfinals next week.

It was an unexpected rematch between the Bellevue Broncos and the Pittsford Wildcats, but for one of the squads it would be the first Regional title in their school's history. Bellevue earned a 49-39 victory on the road in the earlier match-up in January to keep them undefeated at the time. It would be the second and last time Pittsford would suffer a loss in the regular season.
