HS Football Preview – Bearcats and Spartans Meet Again (VIDEO)

The third week of the High School Football season is very pivotal, setting the tone for the remainder of the season. For the Battle Creek Central Bearcats and the Lakeview Spartans, a win in Week 3 is crucial on both sides.

One team is looking to maintain their lead in the Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference's East Division, while the other can make the division race more interesting with their first win of the season. And, it's fair to mention that this continues a highly contested crosstown rivalry on the gridiron.

This week's schedule in the area features four of the five Battle Creek teams at home, with one seeing their first action on their home turf. There are also a total of four teams looking to stay undefeated, and seven searching for one in the win column.
