HS Football Preview – Pennfield Welcomes Williamston (VIDEO)

The 2018 High School Football season has arrived and we are just getting warmed up for an exciting year with two games this week.

Our first match-up takes us the Battle Creek's northeast side, as the Pennfield Panthers host the Williamston Hornets in non-conference action. It's the second straight season the two teams have squared off to open the year, with Williamston taking the 34-13 opener.

The instant notice that you will see all across the Battle Creek area as the High School Football year begins is the amount of changes at head coach. Two of the city coaches begin new eras tonight, with Mike Clothier at Pennfield and Jerry Diorio at Lakeview. The other debut is Friday, as Mason Converse takes over at Harper Creek.
