Just days after thousands joined the Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Walk, over 1,000 antique tractors are preparing cross the Mackinac Bridge this weekend!

Friday, September 6, is the 12th annual Antique Tractor Crossing on the Mackinac Bridge. The first crossing in 2008 included 614 tractors. That number has grown with over 1,300 antique tractors participating in the parade last year.

Tractors start arriving in Mackinaw City today with opening ceremonies on Friday at 8:15 a.m. The crossing will take place on Friday at 8:30 a.m.

The tractor staging area is two miles west of Mackinaw City on West Central Avenue.
