Michigan's biggest venue for Summer music has a new address as DTE Engery Music Theater honors native son Bob Seger.

Bob Seger's final (?) run of six shows at DTE Energy Music Theater begins on June 7. To make sure that rock and roll never forgets, 774 Sashabaw Rd. will become 33 Bob Seger Drive to honor the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame talent.

As he grew up just East on I-94 in Ann Arbor, rock icon Bob Seger has always been a Michigan favorite. He has sold out the erstwhile Pine Knob an incredible 33 times over the last 47 years.

I'm guessing the "33" in the address refers to the number of sellouts, but "Bob Seger Drive" may be a little on the nose- did they even consider "Mainstreet?"
