If A Tree Falls In The Forest & No One Is Around To Hear It…
Remember the old adage "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"?
Well I ask you, if 20% of U.S. Government shuts down for 13 days and you are not affected by it does it really matter?
Approximately 20% of our U.S. Government has been shut down for 13 days, has it really affected you in the least bit, not me. If someone did not tell me that approximately 20% of U.S. Government was shut down I would have had no idea it was.
What does that tell you?
President Trump has asked for $5 billion dollars to secure our southern border, that is $5 billion out of a total budget of $4,300 billion. To put that into perspective President Trump and the Republicans are asking for just .0012% of the entire U.S. budget for border security and the Democrats are saying NO!
To make matters worse for the Democratic Party, President Trump has stated through his spokes people that he would be willing to compromise with them and reduce the $5 billion to $2.5 billion, that is .0006% of the total U.S. Federal budget, and the Democrats are still saying no.
That should tell you all you need to know about how much the Democratic Party cares about the security of the United States and us citizens no matter what excuse they come up with. Their mouths will tell you one thing but their votes and actions will tell you the really truth.
In fact President Trump stayed in Washington D.C. during the holidays to discuss this request with the Democrats, the Democrats where nowhere to be found in Washington. Nancy Pelosi was in Hawaii on vacation and who knows where Schumer was.
If this does not tell you how much the Democratic Party and all of its members care more about people from other countries than U.S. citizen’s, nothing will.
