Improving Michigan Jury Duty

Chief Justice Robert Young Jr is looking to improve the state’s jury system, by easing wait times. The outgoing chief justice tells the Detroit Free Press that Michigan’s current jury process is “extraordinarily stupid” as people often get called for jury duty only to find themselves sitting around in a courthouse before being sent home.
