Kalamazoo Brewery Releasing Annual 4/20 Beer On Easter

April 20th is known as national marijuana day in the United States and there are a number of reasons why people will tell you that 4/20 was chosen as the day. In fact, the day was chosen because some high school kids would meet at 4:20pm to smoke after extra-curricular activities, making those numbers significant. Now, it's a national holiday that many people choose to partake in.

As we know, everyone doesn't participate in all of the same hobbies and there are some people who don't smoke. For some people it is the cost of the habit, for others its the smell, and some people just don't like the way it makes them feel. All of these are valid reasons to not partake and most of those people do drink alcohol. You know who else likes to drink alcohol? The people over at Presidential Brewing in Portage, Michigan.

Every year, they hold a special event on 4/20 to give a shoutout to former president Bill Clinton. If anyone remembers he took a trip to England where he tried marijuana and said it wasn't for him. He also said "I Did Not Inhale" which has been one of his most famous quotes. This year, Presidential Brewing will still be holding their annual 4/20 party and releasing their exclusive beer.

Special Beer Being Released For 4/20 On Easter By Kalamazoo Brewery

They have brought back their "I Did Not Inhale" IPA beer for yet another year as they will be open for their normal 12pm-8pm business hours this Sunday to celebrate the holidays. The beer will sell out by the end of the day as they only make a small, limited batch for 4/20. 1/2 of the batch will be available on tap while the other half will be in cans.

The Sticky Fingers hops that they use in this beer alongside the normal Galaxy, Chindox, and Cascade Hops provides very marijuana Esque and dank smells and flavors to the beer. The first cans and drafts will be poured at 12pm, they will also have Scooby Doo cartoons playing all day and an adult Easter egg hunt with prizes like a $100 gift card, any beer for $1, and custom lights and rolling papers.

Presidential Brewing has booked St Joe Jack to come and perform again as the one-man bad that he is. I heard that he has been able to use dog toys as instruments before, sounds like something you don't want to miss! Lastly, they have a stoner-themed menu that you can see below.
