A Michigan man is facing two felony counts for what he did to mans best friend.

Detroit Man Arrested For Burying His Dog Alive In His Backyard

On September 20th of 2022, Detroit Animal Control officials were called out to a home after neighbors had reported that a dog has been buried alive.

The officials spoke with the dog owner, 20-year-old Jacob Xavier Kasper.

His dog was turned over to Detroit Animal Control but it was too late.

They had to euthanize the dog the next day because of its injuries.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy had this to say:

“Dogs are living and breathing beings, Dogs should be attended to even if they are sick, and especially if they have been abused. No living being should ever be buried alive in lieu of proper medical or other standard care. This is not rocket science.”

 

Michigan Man Faces Two Felony Counts After Burying His Dog Alive

Jacob Xavier Kasper was charged back on Nov. 10th, 2022, with second-degree killing/torturing animals and abandoning/cruelty to one animal. He was arrested Friday (April 7, 2023).

A probable cause conference is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. April 13, and a preliminary examination is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. April 20. I hope they throw the book as this heartless POS.
