We've seen Kalamazoo Native Jordan Klepper do big things with his career lately, most recently becoming the weekly host of The Daily Show on Comedy Central, which he has had appearances on for years. This June, he will be coming home to give a free seminar at the Chenery Auditorium on June 30th from 7 pm until 9:30 pm, as the Kalamazoo Public Library made the announcement:

An interactive program with comedian Jordan Klepper about his Kalamazoo roots, his career in comedy, and, in honor of the 150th Anniversary of Kalamazoo Public Library, the ever-increasing importance of trusted information. Jordan Klepper is a writer, producer, and comedian, perhaps best known for his segments as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.

Klepper has been staying busy since graduating from Kalamazoo schools from high school to college:

He is the creator and star of the Comedy Central docu-series, KLEPPER. The show has been called “a fresh, powerful interpretation of news” (Detroit Free Press) that brings Klepper to “new comedic heights” (Vanity Fair).

Klepper is a graduate of both Kalamazoo Central High School and Kalamazoo College and celebrating the library's 150th anniversary, will no doubt share stories about growing up in Kalamazoo and some stories of his youth in the area.
