I think we can all agree that companies giving out free food to veterans is the least that they could do to give back to those who have sacrificed everything to protect our freedoms in this country.

So many businesses across the state of Michigan participated in a free food promotion for veterans Day, and there are some veterans who take full advantage of the generosity that’s shown towards them. One veteran in particular is Detroit wrestling legend Malcolm Monroe II, of the Air Force.

Malcolm is the son of Detroit wrestling legend Malcolm “Sweet Daddy" Monroe, who was a part of Insane Championship Wrestling and Xtreme Intense Championship Wrestling. The Monroes are well known throughout the area as being Detroit’s first 3rd Generation wrestling family.

Yesterday, during Veterans Day, Malcolm went all over southeast Michigan to take advantage of his annual Veterans Day free food challenge that he sets for himself.

Every Veterans Day, he goes out to try to stop at as many places that are giving out free food, and yesterday he set a personal best record, stopping at 27 different places wearing his lucky pajamas. This is where he ended up getting all of his free meals from:

Wendy's, Cracker Barrel, Dunkin,  Starbucks,  Tim Horton's,  Little Caesars, Saroki's chicken and pizza,  Arby's,  Menchie's, Olga's,  Texas Roadhouse, Famous Daves, Qdoba,  Chic Fil A,  Red Lobster,  Buffalo Wild Wings, Black Rock, Menchies,  Starbucks, White Castle, Arby's, Chic Fil A, Dave and Busters, Chic Fil A,  Mission BBQ, Dunkin, Stop #27 (NEW Record) Final Stop, Dairy Queen

No doubt, MM2 is the Free Food King on Veteran's Day. I've been lucky enough to work with the Monroes briefly in the wrestling industry, and this family is truly loved in the community. I just don't know how one man can take down that much food in one day, but I guess that's why he's the champ and we're not.
