We have hit that point of the year where Christmas music is going to start playing before we want to, and people are going to skip right past harvest season and right into Christmas season.

Given that inevitability, many parents will already be heading to the malls to find that special gift, or in many cases, gifts for their kids. If you’ve got a late elementary schooler through high schooler, you may be on the hunt for one of the most, if not the most, sought-after gifts this holiday season. Of course, I’m talking about the Pop Mart Labubu.

What the hell exactly is a Labubu?

In reality, they are part of a collection of toys through Pop Mart that basically just clip on to your kids' waistbands or backpacks, and are sold in mystery boxes, so you never know exactly which one you’re going to get.

But most importantly, you could be throwing your money away. There are only a few legitimate places to get one in the entire state of Michigan. Here are the only places to get a Labubu in Michigan from a Robo Shop:

These are where you can get an individual box. Other than joining streaming auction sites like Whatnot and shopping or bidding on items from trusted sellers, the closest Pop Mart shop is in Illinois.

So if Michigan parents want to get their hands on one, they need to have the right connections. Just make sure that the ones you were buying are legitimate.

How To Spot A Fake Labubu

There are different ways to tell if you are buying a legitimate product or not. If you wanna spot a fake package, check its hologram sticker and QR code. When you scan it, it should take you to Pop Mart’s official verification site.
