Meet The WMU Alum Winning Emmys With The Detroit Lions

The fact is, there are plenty of awards that are handed out behind the scenes that don’t get TV recognition like they should.

Recently, a Western Michigan University alumnus, Max Haun, was up for bids for multiple Emmys and ended up taking some hardware home at the end of the night, as he ended up winning three Emmys for his work with the Detroit Lions.

Western Michigan University was excited to share the announcement late last night.

Lights, camera, this #WMUAlumni just WON THREE EMMYS! Congratulations to Max Hahn for taking home not one, not two but THREE Emmy Awards for his stellar work behind the lens as the videographer. From the classrooms of Western to the sidelines of Ford Field, Broncos continue to make their mark at #WMU and beyond!

This isn't the first time a Western Michigan University alumnus captured an Emmy, as Composer and WMU alumnus Brian Katona (BMI) also won an Emmy Award for his musical score to the short documentary film, “The Builder.”

I guess it's true what they say, Western Michigan University creates successful people all over the map.
