Meet The WMU Alum Winning Emmys With The Detroit Lions
Winning a prestigious award like an Emmy, a Grammy or an Oscar is something that everyone dreams of, but it isn’t just the big prestigious awards like best actor, or album of the year that are up for nomination. The fact is, there are plenty of awards that are handed out behind the scenes that don’t get TV recognition like they should.
That means there are a lot of people throughout the United States have the ability to win these terms of awards.

Recently, a Western Michigan University alumnus, Max Haun, was up for bids for multiple Emmys and ended up taking some hardware home at the end of the night, as he ended up winning three Emmys for his work with the Detroit Lions.

This isn't the first time a Western Michigan University alumnus captured an Emmy, as Composer and WMU alumnus Brian Katona (BMI) also won an Emmy Award for his musical score to the short documentary film, “The Builder.”
