MSU's In the Tournament, Rep Your Green & White

The Michigan State Spartans men's basketball team has made the NCAA tournament once again in 2023. Tom Izzo set an NCAA record for making it 25 straight appearances in the tournment. Well done coach! Go Green!

I love this time of year in East Lansing. There's something special about the warmer temps (hopefully coming this week), the tournament buzz and of course the first week of the tournament coincides with St. Patrick's Day. MSU is playing this Friday, the weather forecast is calling for rain but temperatures near 50 degrees. It will be a fun day of bar hopping for Spartan fans and hopefully the Spartans will prevail over USC.

One thing you'll want to do is rep your green and white. The Spartans are playing to win it all. After the year that MSU has had with tragedy, the student athletes, coaching staff and fans are in it to win it for Spartan Nation.

I remember when Coach Izzo and the Spartans won in 2000. The "buzz" in the air was awesome and contagious. Hopefully we will see a bunch of pop up tents on the side of the road selling t-shirts and other tournament gear this year. That was a fun time for Spartan fans. Go get em Spartans.
