Calhoun County Chief Judge Michael Jaconette recently assumed the head position for the county courts. This as a result of some restructuring that is considered a change modern courts are undertaking.

Something else modern courts are doing is implementing specialty courts focused on certain issues - often addiction - which provide opportunities to reduce recidivism and save taxpayers money.
