Kalamazoo Man Arrested After Dropping Loaded Gun

A Kalamazoo man was arrested early Tuesday morning after he was found with a gun.

Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Officers responded to the 500 block of Lawrence St. around 4am Tuesday, after a citizen said a man pointed a gun at them.  Officers witnessed from a distance the man drop a loaded gun from his waistband; the man was subsequently arrested.

The 40-year-old Kalamazoo man is now facing charges of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Felony Firearm, and Felon In Possession of a Firearm; he also had several outstanding warrants.  He's now lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail pending arraignment.
