Man Critically Wounded In Suspected Hit-And-Run Friday

A man was seriously hurt after he was apparently hit by a car in Kalamazoo Friday morning.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says in a release that around 2:40am Friday, a 34-year-old Kalamazoo man was found lying in the 200 block of E. Michigan Ave; he was found and helped by a motorist who happened to pass by. The man was taken to Bronson Kalamazoo, listed in critical condition with “severe head trauma”.

The KDPS believes that the man was hit by a car, so they are asking for any witnesses to come forward, and as well security footage from cameras nearby is being examined. No arrests have been made yet, so if you have any information contact police or Silent Observer.
