Kalamazoo Man Dies After Crash With Semi Near Homer

A crash between a car and a semi-truck yesterday afternoon in Calhoun County led to a man’s death.

Around 3pm Tuesday, Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the area of M-60 near 28 mile Rd, just east of Homer, on reports of a crash.

The driver of the car, a 32-year-old Kalamazoo man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck was taken to a hospital in Jackson to be treated.

The cause of the crash isn’t clear, but the investigation continues.
