A chill is in the air, and for some people that means cozy sweaters and pumpkin spice. For others, who lack basic cold-weather gear, it, ominously means winter is on it's way. Kellogg Community Credit Union has teamed up with Charitable Union of Battle Creek, St. Joseph County United Way, Salvation Army of Kalamazoo County, Marshall Area Community Services, and Bethany Christian Services of Grand Rapids for their annual coat drive. Running October 1st through 31st, each KCCU branch is accepting new and gently used coats, hats, mittens, and scarves in all sizes, from infants to adults. They will give all donations to their partners who will then distribute the items to local families in their areas to help needy families prepare for winter. Not a KCCU member? You don't have to be. They are proud to support their communities and invite everyone to donate at any of their West Michigan locations. Help KCCU help our neighbors and give to their annual coat drive now through October 31st.
