Like 75 mph? Not Around Battle Creek (Legally)

Looking forward to zoomin' up to 75 mph on I-94 or I-69 (legally)? Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Michigan Department of Transportation's newly announced list of routes where the speed limit will be upped to 75 does not include any routes in Calhoun County.

MDOT spokesperson Nick Schirripa tells 95.3 WBCK MDOT and Michigan State Police worked together to study stretches of road in less-populated areas where a speed-boost would be safest.
