This 8-year old boy has a story to tell for the rest of his life and more than likely something to hold over his older sister for the rest of her life.

An 8-year old boy was travelling with his older sister in their grandmother’s car on the way to the hospital last Thursday.  The Cincinnati Enquirer is reporting that when their grandmother parked outside an entrance to the hospital to help a friend get out of the car and into the door the children remained in the back seat.

Apparently a man saw what was going on and jumped into the driver’s seat and attempted to drive away with the car and children.

According to the Cincinnati police Facebook page:

The little boy opened the door to escape and the little girl started to jump out also but the man grabbed the hoodie of the little girl not allowing her to leave…As she tried to get away, her little brother grabbed hold of her and pulled her away from the kidnapper and they both tumbled out of the vehicle as it was moving.

That 8-year old boy is truly his sister’s hero.  As the police Chief Rodney Muterspaw said in a statement:

This little guy is a hero. No question…He pulled his sister out of the car with no concern for his own safety. That is incredible at his age.

Knowing brothers and sisters and how they constantly fight, can you image what that brother will say when he gets angry at his older sister?

I can.

Great to hear a feel good story like this from time to time.  Great job little bro!
