Man Stabbed In Battle Creek Thursday Night

One man is in the hospital, another in jail following a stabbing in Battle Creek last night.

Police responded to the scene at the River Oaks Apartments at around 9 p.m. where they found a 46-year-old man with a stab wound to the mid-section.

The victim was taken to Bronson-Battle Creek for treatment.

Investigators say they identified a 59-year-old man from the same building as the suspect and took him into custody on charges of Assault with Intent to Murder.
