Man Stabbed in Portage, Victim Not Cooperating

A 23-year-old man is recovering after he was stabbed in the side Wednesday morning in Portage.

Police officers responded to the 6100 block of Hummingbird Court around 9:30am on a reported fight. The victim was found with a single stab wound, while the suspect fled the scene. The man is at Bronson-Kalamazoo for his lone injury.

Investigators say that the man is not being cooperative with authorities. They also believe the fight stemmed from an ongoing feud.
