Your chance to speak out on the issue of funding repairs to Michigan’s roads is coming up a week from Tuesday

State Representative Matt Hall, a Republican who represents parts of Calhoun and eastern Kalamazoo Counties, says that a town hall on road funding will be held Tuesday, July 9; it will feature special guest Representative Jack O’Malley from Lake Ann, who is the chair of the House Transportation Committee. A press release says that Rep. O'Malley has spent his first six months as a state legislator "exploring solutions to the issues affecting roads in Michigan".

Rep. Hall says that he’s “fed up with the state of our roads”;

Holding this event gives me the opportunity to hear directly from you and take your feedback to Lansing. I will continue to work with Chair O’Malley and my colleagues to find solutions that are effective and affordable.

The event July 9 happens at the Victory Life Church in Emmett Township, and runs from 10 to 11am.
