Mayor: BCU and SWMF Could Work Together [Audio]

It is still too early to know if Battle Creek Unlimited will continue to be the economic development coordinator of choice in the city. But, it seems that both Mayor Deb Owens and City Manager Rebecca Fleury are among those who think BCU and the Kalamazoo-based Southwest Michigan First could - possibly - collaborate on Battle Creek economic development in the future, were there to be an overall interest in it.

"I am certain of that," Mayor Deb Owens told The Richard Piet Show on WBCK Tuesday.
