Kalamazoo Pizza Delivery Driver Accused Of Robbing Customer
Two people are in jail in Kalamazoo, accused of robbing a man who they had delivered pizza to earlier in the night.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says in a release Thursday that they were called to the Hungry Howies on Portage Rd, around 7pm Sunday. The manager there said a man had threatened him, because the pizza delivery guy had allegedly robbed him at gunpoint. Officers went to the Motel 6 on Vanrick, where the victim was staying, to talk to him.
The victim said that he had ordered pizza, and then a few hours afterwards the driver returned and robbed him. After obtaining probable cause, authorities tracked down and arrested 23-year-old Alonzo Wink of Flint. A second suspect, 18-year-old Donqueal Turner of Kalamazoo, was arrested on Wednesday and arraigned Thursday.
The KDPS says that they are still seeking a third suspect in this robbery, so if you have any information contact police or Silent Observer.
