A large scale house used in the making of methamphetamine was raided Monday by police.

Officers from the Albion Department of Public Safety and the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department went to a home in the 800 block of Irwin Avenue around 4:30 pm, on a tip of possible meth production.  At the house authorities spotted evidence of meth making components, so a search warrant was obtained.

Inside the house, a large amount of meth and meth making components were discovered.  Hazmat crews worked for over 6 hours cleaning up the hazardous materials at the location.

Authorities say that this was one of the largest meth busts in the history of Calhoun County.  No arrests have been made as of yet.
