A Michigan high school teacher showed up to work with a blood alcohol level 4 times the legal limit.

The teacher was taken into custody on the Lakeland High School campus after the school administration called the police Thursday morning around 8am according to WXYZ.com,

Officers say the teacher from West Bloomfield admitted to consuming alcohol before driving to school. He is expected to be arraigned on Thursday on charges of operating while intoxicated with a high blood-alcohol content and for driving with a suspended license.

There's no word on what the teacher said or did that lead to the school administration at Lakeland High School in White Lake Township to suspect the teacher was intoxicated.  But let's be honest.  If you're over 4 times the legal limit after a Breathalyzer, you're probably showing the signs of being hammered.

The teacher was charged with DUI and driving with a suspend license.
