Lake Superior State in northern Michigan has once more released its list of banned words for the year. The Associated Press reports that on Saturday, the university released its 42nd annual List of Words Banished from the Queen’s English for Misuse, Overuse and General Uselessness. This year, the tongue in cheek list, from the Sault Ste. Marie school includes “you, sir,” “focus,” “town hall meeting,” “historic,” “echo chamber,” “on fleek,” “bigly,” “listicle,” and “get your dander up.”
