After closing 10 years ago, a store is returning once again to Lakeview Square Mall.

The Battle Creek Enquirer says that urban clothing store Mpeccable Style is set to have their grand opening Tuesday, May 15, with items including jerseys, Rock Revival jeans, and custom made on site T-shirts for sale.

The store had opened in 2000, and moved to Lakeview Square Mall sometime after that; however, it closed down in 2008 due to the recession.

Mpeccable Style will be located on the west side of the mall, across from where Radioshack used to be.

The announcement of this opening comes less than a week after FYE announced that their location in Battle Creek would be closing, while their locations in Lansing, Jackson and Portage would remain open. FYE is undergoing a large going out of business sale at the moment; an exact closing date has not been given.

95.3 WBCK has asked the community in the past what they would like to see fill up empty storefronts in Lakeview Square Mall; some of your responses included ideas like local boutique stores, chain outdoor stores like Bass Pro Shops, and even radical overhauls like senior living communities and roller rinks.
