Multi-Vehicle Crash In Pennfield

Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a multi-vehicle crash in Pennfield, shortly after 3 PM Saturday afternoon. When they arrived on the scene, at the intersection of Morgan Road and East Avenue, they found a pick-up truck resting on top of a sedan and another truck sitting alongside.

A female driver of one of the trucks had to be extricated from the vehicle. Several people involved in the crash received minor injuries and were transported to local hospitals.

It is believed that the woman driving the sedan was northbound on East Avenue when she ran a stop sign and collided with a truck, which spun and collided with another truck. She was ticketed for her role in the accident.
