Miller Auditorium announced Tuesday Canadian music legend Gordon Lightfoot will play at Miller on Wednesday, May 13th. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, December 12th.

Lightfoot, whose careers spans over 60 years, first came to the spotlight with his song "If I Could Read Your Mind." In 1974, his "Sundown" album spawned the eponymous hit, and "Carefree Highway.". Then, in 1976, Lightfoot cemented his musical legend in Michigan putting to song the tragic story story of "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald", the ill-fated freighter and it's doomed crew.

"I can't think of any Gordon Lightfoot song I don't like. Everytime I hear a song of his, it's like I wish it would last forever.... Lightfoot became a mentor for a long time. I think he probably still is to this day" - Bob Dylan via Audible.com

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, December 12th, 2019 at 10 am on millerauditorium.com and at 269-387-2300.
