Mystery Town, USA In Michigan Gives You Urban Legends Experience

The Bermuda Triangle, Bigfoot, Aliens, and The Lost City of Atlantis, are just a few major urban legends that have mystified people for centuries. Who would have thought if you wanted to learn about all of these things in person, that Mackinaw City was the place to do it? That's because Mackinaw City has been labeled Mystery Town, USA. At least, you can visit Mystery Town there that is.

In 2017, it opened to allow guests to go on a self-guided tour through six themed rooms, which include places like Area 51, The Bermuda Triangle, and a Black Hole.

You also can't miss the 8-foot replica of Bigfoot, as you walk through and learn about his sightings, and make your way to King Tut's Tomb. Mystery Town is located at 200 S. Nicolet St., Mackinaw City. It runs $10.95 for adults, $7.95 for children ages 5-12. They're open Thursday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
