Kellogg Community College President Mark O'Connell, who became president of the college in January, didn't need a guided tour to get familiar with campus. He was the interim president for a period of time, and has served as the college vice president of administration and finance.

In his first visit to WBCK since becoming president, O'Connell talked about the overall job and educational climate now, acknowledged a lack of skilled trades and other tech professionals to fill open positions, and the continuing challenge with the costs of college.
