The NFL draft is now history and the Detroit Lions have some new faces for the upcoming season.  It didn't seem to help the teams odds to win a Super Bowl.

According to M-Live,  the Lions are currently a 60/1 favorite to win the big game this season.   The line is courtesy of Bovada in Las Vegas.   The Lions odds are 20th best in the league.  This number is actually worse than it was before the draft and before free agency.

It looks like despite the moves the Lions made and the hiring of Matt Patricia for head coach, the Lions still have a tough task to win.

The current favorite to win it all is Matt Patricia's former team, New England.  The Patriots are at 5/1 to win the Super Bowl.   Last year's champions The Eagles are right behind them.

The addition of former Michigan State/ Washington QB Kirk Cousins has the Minnesota Vikings in at the 3rd best odds to win.

Odds are one thing the teams have to play the games so we will see how the Lions do this fall.  They will start the preseason on August 10th in Oakland against the Raiders.

The regular season will start on Monday Night, September 10th against the New York Jets.     You can check out the Lions full schedule for 2018-2019 season here.
