Michigan Senator Mike Nofs, R-Battle Creek, discussed several issues at hand currently for lawmakers in Lansing during a visit to The Richard Piet Show Friday on WBCK.

Among others, Nofs talked about new committee appointments as the Dean of the Senate, the governor's State of the State address - including his perspective on the proposed sales tax increase to fund road repairs.

Nofs also discussed the potential closing of Kellogg's plants somewhere in the U.S., as has been reported over recent months.
