A Jackson County high school teacher is being investigated for inappropriate conduct with a student.

The Jackson Citizen Patriot reports that the unnamed teacher at Parma Western was put on paid leave in October, with parents being notified Wednesday. The allegations are that the teacher inappropriately communicated with a student, but further details aren’t available.

Both police and the Western School District are investigating this incident, with police expecting to wrap their investigation up in December.
