A Paw Paw man has been arrested and arraigned following the execution of a search warrant and seizure of child sexually abusive material.

The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force announced the arrest and arraignment of Kevin Molz, 58 of Paw Paw, on charges of child abusive commercial activity, child sexually abusive material aggravated possession, child sexually abusive activity aggravated distributing or promoting, use of computers to commit a crime, and possession or sale of a taser.

The investigation was initiated by the Fifth District Computer Crimes Unit when a suspect was found to be downloading a large amount of child sexually abusive material. A search warrant was executed at Molz’s home and digital evidence was seized. An interview of Molz was also conducted on scene. Troopers from the MSP Paw Paw Post and Fifth District Emergency Support Team assisted with the search warrant. Troopers from the MSP Paw Paw post arrested Molz after a warrant was issued.
